MISSION STATEMENT

We, the Silicon Valley Portuguese Education & Culture Foundation, are dedicated to supporting the

 

• Teaching of the Portuguese language at San Jose State University,

• scholarships to students taking Portuguese language courses,

• Sponsoring cultural activities to support the language and culture acquisition of students and the community in general.

 

We believe that our mission will:

 

• Enhance the cultural understanding of Portuguese speaking nations,

• Act as a catalyst to awareness in a diverse global population,

• As the second most Romance language in the world, career opportunities are greatly enhanced.

 

 

Nós, a Silicon Valley Portuguese Education & Culture Foundation, estamos dedicados ao

 

• Ensino da língua portuguesa na Universidade San Jose State University,

• Conceder bolsas de estudo a estudantes que frequentam cursos de língua portuguesa, e Patrocinar atividades culturais para apoiar a aquisição de linguagem e cultura dos alunos e da comunidade em geral.

 

Acreditamos que nossa missão será:

 

• Reforçar a compreensão cultural das nações de língua portuguesa,

• Atuar como um catalisador para a conscientização em uma população global diversificada,

• Como a segunda língua mais romântica do mundo, as oportunidades de carreira são muito melhoradas.
